Dance

Dancing was forbidden when I was growing up. I've always loved it anyway, in spite of the lame reasons I was given that I chose to forget.

Dance is life, just as music is. Sure it can be distorted as most things can be but for the most part it brings us together. At the Calvin Worship Symposium I was introduced to Dr Kathleen Turner. Her whole life has centered around dance. A whole life centered around dance..I did not know that was possible (I say this as my child self who wished I would have known this sooner).

Dr Turner has co chaired 9 international dance worship conferences (and has danced and choreographed for churches, productions and institutions around the country. She received her masters from Sarah Lawrence and graduated from Yale Divinity School and has a doctorate from Fordham. Her dissertation was " And We Shall Learn through Dance."

I have read that David danced before the Lord with all his might and I'm a witness, so does Kathleen Turner.
